I Can’t Get Disney Plus on my Sony Bravia

I am extremely disappointed.  Despite the fact my TV is not very old it seems I cannot add the Disney Plus app to the menu because it is a non-Android version.  I did not know this when I took a subscription out.  I would have thought that new apps could be added to my TV a firmware upgrade from Sony.  So why has this not already happened before Disney Plus launched?

Really poor design by Sony. Why have non-Android TV if you are not going to work with major app developers like Disney or Britbox.

We were given a new Bravia x70 as a gift. Not a patch on the ease of use and availability of apps found on Samsung TVs

Hi Irenicon,, you can use an external device like a fire-stick, or casting from your phone if your model supports it.
