Can someone help me? My Sony Bravia TV KDL48W70C was working until last year when it stopped. The power goes through, the the name Sony comes on when switched on but then screen goes blank. It shuts down but the LED light is white. Remote does not work as well. I bought the TV in Vanuatu and moved over to Papua New Guinea. It was working until then. Is it a software update issue (as I note from the Sony information) and if so, how do I switch on the TV to upgrade it? I've downloaded the software but am having difficulty turning on the TV to update it. If it's not the software issue, what can be possible issues for consideration? The remote works when the TV is powered but is disabled once the TV automatically shuts down. Thanks, Molean.
