I am getting a message displayed at the top of the tv screen about every three minutes which is very annoying.  I have no idea what it means and we have had the tv from new and it’s only just started doing it.

Any idea why it’s doing it and how to stop it.

It is the info banner showing that something as changed in the source. If you don't want it disable the banner in the digital tv settings

Press the home button -> settings -> channel setup -> uncheck info banner.
