KD-75XF9005 and STR-DN1080 - ARC disconnecting/Bravia Sync issues

Hi all,

 

Another ARC related issue since 6545 update.

It's been fine with the update up until this week, now the AMP loses bravia sync functionality and audio via ARC.

All my devices are no longer named correctly and instead adopt the generic "Playback_3 / Tuner_1" naming. TV Apps such as netflix and other installed apps don't play audio through the AMP and I resort to having to change to 'TV Speakers'.

After factory resetting my TV and AMP... I've resorted to unplugging the HDMI from HDMI3 (ARC), rebooting the TV then plugging it back in once it's booted up. Lasts for a couple of hours before it borks out again.

Any kind souls have any suggestions or avenues of support escalation?
