New AG9 questions

1. When are we getting Dolby ATMOS update? It's promised but no sign of it yet.

2. My AG9 picture and voice audio is slightly out of sync both on Freeview and via SKY Q box. How can I correct it?

3. It may be because of point 2 above, but voice audio is not coming from right position ie comes from area slightly away from the person speaking.

4. When viewing the AG9 in store, the sound had excellent bass (sub woofer?) with deep rumbles: I don't get anything like that. Do I need to adjust something on the settings which I've currently got set to Dolby audio.

Hi Andymc77,

 

I believe that Dolby Atmos is already supported on the TV; however, it is only from Netflix.

Also, do you get the sound from the internal TV speakers or an audio system?

Sound from the TV only. The sound I heard in the shop made me believe I wouldn't need external speakers. 

I wonder if my HDMI cable is too long at 2m. It's supposed to be UHD 4K compatable but maybe I need a shorter one. Any recommendations on best makes?

Hi Andymc77,

 

I can't help with the make of the cables, but I believe any high speed cable should do.

Since this happens from the internal speakers, I'd recommend resetting the TV to the original factory settings. You can find the steps here: https://bit.ly/2qNPwro.

Released in USA today. I wonder if I can use it for AG9 bought in EU?
