"Region screen" at switch-on 55AF9

Our 55" AF9, at switch on most times comes up with the "Digital Auto Tune" final region screen overlying whatever we want to watch. The screen has a the usual "OK" box, but will not respond to the remote. The only way to get rid of it is to turn the TV off and on again. It doesn't seem to matter which input it is set to come on with. It happens most but not every time the TV is switched on.

We have obviously tried running the Digital auto tune, which runs to the same "Region" setting screen, which is correct, then closes with the OK button. Next switch on, back it comes.

This is ruining an otherwise fantastic TV, has anybody any idea how to stop it?

Thank you, Ian,  that is exactly what I did on my Sony 65AF9.  Home>Settings> but nothing listed as channel set up.  The only way to do channel set up seems to be in Initial Set up which goes through every option.

On my screen its, HOME:SETTINGS:CHANNEL SETTINGS:DIGITAL SETTINGS:TECHNICAL :THEN TURN AUTO TO OFF.
