Hey!

To celebrate that Sony’s Hawk Eye goal line technology is being introduced in the new Premier League season, I thought we should have a Sony Community Fantasy Football league!

Do we have any football fans here?

http://fantasy.premierleague.com/ is the link you’ll need. You’ll need to sign up first and then you’ll be able to create your team.

Then each match day you’ll be given points based on clean sheets, goals, etc. You’ll be able to make subs and transfers throughout the season. You can find all the rules here: http://fantasy.premierleague.com/the-scout/

Once your team is created, you’ll be able to join the league.

I couldn't bring myself to pick either Suarez or 'he who shall not be named that went to Chelsea' so went for

reasonable / cheaper players plus the best midfielder in England.

My strategy is pick the best 11 i can and then for the subs get the cheapest.

That has me thinking now.  I have a £8m forward sitting in the sub.  Bit of a waste really, where-as I could get a better all-round defense.

I wouldn't want to steer you in the wrong direction! 

My way means if there's an injury or someone doesn't play, the guys i have on the bench probably won't pick up any points, and i'd have to spend points on transfers. By having good subs, you're always covered.

This fantasy football is so much more complicated than I realised!

I thought it would be like real football where you just send 11 players on randomly, (sorry Benitez used to call it rotating ), and cross your fingers for the best.
