I have just purchased a BDVN7100, and whilst I am very pleased with it there is one irritant.
With previous DVD players, playback will start from where I last stopped it.
With the 7100, the disc always seems to start from the beginning.
It is very rare that I watch a film all the way through, so it is very useful to pick up from where I left off.
Just pausing the playback and leaving the player on is not an option, as it might be several days until I can start watching the film again.
My last Sony 5.1 kit could remember 5 discs- this doesn't seem to remember one. Is there an option to do this?
Many thanks
Hi,
Many thanks for your prompt response, although it is not the answer that I had hoped!
Unusual that such a supposed advance system cannot resume from previous point even when it has been turned off.
Previous, much older, systems I have had ( albeit DVD ) have been able to do this.
It is what it is though, I suppose.
Again, thanks.

I thought that too, to be honest - as players gone-by was able to do this. But unfortunately this is not the case. Good luck with everything though.
