Hi!
I bought my Sony BDVN72000WB at the end of May this year and since then I have nothing but problems with it.
It freezes very often and takes forever to start up. I end up unplugging it from the socket, because I can't even turn it off! I am not sure what to do - I managed to get hold of Currys and they said that I should get a refund (because to be honest, I am not confident that replacement will solce my issue - what if the new one will be just as bad? Considering that I've read so many negative reviews about this cinema kit).
The sound quality is normally pretty good (though it is not as loud as I expected)... Until recently - it is almost mono! Could it have something to do with a message 'BD System' displaying on the screen? (Sorry for such a silly question though).
Please, help, any advice will be helpfull.
Hi there,
Welcome to the Sony Community.
Can you let me know if you are receiving any other error messages?
Best wishes,
Sean Mc
Hi, thanks for yor reply.
No, there are no error messages.
I tried to watch a movie ahain today and the sound quality was terrible - like watching an old movie in mono! And I turned the sound up to 40, which is the loudest - yet, it was still very quiet...
I have done a master reset and it didn't help.
Shall I send it back to store?
Hi Kornelia,
We'll look into this and update you when we get more information.
Best wishes,
Ed
Hi Kornelia1988,
I'd recommend making sure the system is running the latest firmware update which will help fix any bugs but if the issue remains, you can try going for a factory reset (steps can be found on page 63 of the manual).
Hope that helps.
