UPDATE CENTRE icon/app lost on screen

I am a new user to xperia E1 phone, I accidently deleted the blue UPDATE CENTRE icon from my screen, how do I get it back. I know I can still get updates via the settings page, about phone, but I prefer to see the icon called UPDATE CENTRE. Thanks

Find it in your app drawer, you probably only deleted it from your home screen. When you press centered manu youll get all apps screen, rearange it to be in alphabetical order and find it, long press it and drag on top in green field from where youll be taken to home screen to put it there if you wish

Hi, thanks for taking the time to answer, but it has been permanently deleted I dragged it to delete basket by accident, I have checked all the screens (including the apps I dont use) and it has definitely gone:smileysad:

I dont think you can uninstall it since its a system app, therefore its icom must be in app drawer, it makes no sense if any different

Hi again, on looking at the way my icons are displayed I had it in the setting of OWN ORDER, however if I switch it to MOST USED or ALPHABETICAL the missing UPDATE CENTRE icon reappears, so that seems to have sorted it. Just a bit unsure why when in OWN ORDER I lose it but I am happy that it has shown again.  Many thanks for your replies and help.  PS I am sure it unchanges the replies but its an E1 phone I have.

For Own order i think its because you deleted it jast like youve said. I think Admin can put this in solved...
