Bravia KDL 47W805A does not read mkv files

Hi there,

I tried to open a few different .mkv vieo files. It starts to load it but nothing happens. The TV blocks and the only thing to do is to unplug the el. cable.

I am wondering if my TV is with a deffect or is it general problem for all TVs from this serie.

Hi there

At this stage the only suggestion that I have, is to compare a correctly working file with one that doesnt, using a program called Media Info.

when i rename mkv to mp4 than it works

You can convert the files to MP4 using software called any MP4 converter available HERE
