KD-55XE7077 blank screen after trying to update online

Hello guys we just brought home and set up a KD-55XE7077SAEP. I thought I'd check if there's a software update for it through the settings and there was. I clicked the option to update now.

It downloaded the update but then after a while the screen went blank (I can see that it's still on) and the LED light is constant and white.

It's been stuck there for at least 45 minutes, maybe more. The remote control doesn't work.. When I press any button on the remote the LED liight flashes white once but nothing else happens... The power button on the remote also doesn't do anything.

I have not tried removing the TV from the power plug as I'm afraid it might brick it..

Any suggestions? Please advise!

Try unplugging everying and then do a reset.

Hello, I unplugged it, waiting about a minute and then started it up again. It seems fine again. And I believe it's updated as well.

Phew that was a bit worrying to be honest...
