KDL-37P3020

I have a Bravia KDL-37P3020 & DVD recorder HDX995.

My problem is - everytime i record or watch either recorded programmes or DVD's - in the top left hand corner of the screen it says

recorder 1 (HDD/DVD)

(box like tv shape) 4

1080i/50

Its so annoying and I can't find how to get it off - i have reset the TV and reset the DVD recorder but its still there.

I am also posting this in DVD section as I am not sure if its a TV or DVD problem!

Please help ASAP

Hello, welcome to the Sony Forums

For the TV, I would try the i+/? button which is used to display programme details and other info on the screen,  Page 10 of the user manual should have more details.

I believe the 'info' button on the DVD recorder does something similar.  Worth a look if the above doesnt clear it
