The apps are no longer working on our Bravia Tv.

We have the same issue.  Apps will not launch when selected from the menu screen. Have tried resetting internet. Disconnected TV and WiFi, restored factory settings all to no avail.  TV is tuned fine and internet connections are checking out fine too.  Any suggestions?

Same here. Reset factory settings and no good. 

Goes non responsive when selecting “apps” from menu. 

Actually bought a second identical tv today for bedroom and exactly the same

on that.

It looks like server problems. Been fighting with this since morning - still nothing ;/
In additional my firmware version is 8.213 so was trying to update it by usb and network and doen's work by usb either.

New tv arrived today KDL23WD752 thought I was going a little mad very frustrating 😡 apps just not their causing remote to play up also !

I have the same problem. I.E. The TV `hangs ` after selecting APPS, no icons appear and have to continually press return to be able to get back to selecting other channels. i-player will function via the red button, computer is functioning fine, so do not believe it is a router problem. I too have tried disconnecting etc. to no avail and also suspect it is a Sony problem.
