Hi there
Two things id recommend you do:
- Ensure that you have the latest firmware installed
- Perform a factory reset of the TV
In most cases this should fix any issues with errors messages with SEN apps.
Try that and see how things go.
Cheers

Hi there
Can you confirm that you are using the BBC iPlayer application and YouTube application (as in going to SEN > Applications) and NOT going to either via the web-browser?
Cheers

I have exactly the same error with youtube app on a brand new KDL42W805B
I have the latest firmware, I have reset the TV to factory defaults and I have removed the power cord for 1 minute. None of this solves the issue.

Hi there
Can you provide more information? Are you going to a specific website/s that 'crash' the TVs web browser - if so which ones - are they graphic intensive? Or is it every website (ie google.co.uk).
Cheers

I am using the youtube app in sen apps. In fact, the video plays, but the browser error is printed in a dark layer over the screen, make the video impossible to watch (and if you click on OK when the error is printed, it quits the app). This happens whetever the video is.
This happens when I use the youtube app, when I try to cast the screen from youtube on my xperia phone and when I try to play a youtube video on the TV from a registered computer. This doesn't happen if I play youtube via flipps app on my phone (through DLNA) for example. Other apps like opera movies work fine, so this is definitely something in the youtube app itself.
I tried to do a factory reset again, and remove the power plug for about 1 min after the reset to be sure the TV does a cold restart, but that doesn't help.

Hi there
I think your going to have to contact Sony support on this one to be honest. I have the W807a TV (same TV, just silver frame) and do not experience this problem. Also, if it was wide spread, more people would have complained, therefore at this moment, its isolated to your TV.
Sony Support should be able to assist you on this. Details : HERE
