Connect Sony Vaio To Any Stereo System?

Just got my new vaio pocket and lovin' it.

Now i want to be able to plug it in to any stereo system.

The i- pod comes with the right wire to do this so is there a similar cable to connect my vaio pocket to say a car stereo?

Thanks if you have any suggestions.

Glad to know you enjoy your VAIO. I know there is a cable to do what you want but I dont know which it is.

I will be watching this thread to find out myself.

Most stereo systems use phono plugs so you'll probably need a 3.5mm Stereo Plug to Two Phono Sockets like the one on this page. Part L40BA

Rob is right, thats the best way, however, if you dont have a line in I use one of the little radio transmitters, everything has a radio!!,

I use one of these transmitters

Click

You plug it into the headphone socket of your VAIO and tune your radio to a blank radio signal (default 88 FM), this unit then transmits your music and your Hi-Fi- picks it up with no hiss or loss of quality. (If you have more than 1 radio in the house they will all pick up the signal at the same time so music all over the place but may be some degradation of quality depending how far away they are from the transmitter) Works in the car too!
