Converting Atrac3plus to MP3

I want to convert some of the songs in my library from Atrac3plus to MP3 in order to use them with my MuVo player. Creating an MP3 cd doesn't seem to work and also converting the songs I want doesn't give an option for MP3s. I would really appreciate any advise in order to create MP3s.

A legal way to do it is to use the convert to .wav and burn a CD. Then use Media player to convert from the disk to MP3.
