Deleting songs from playlists

Can anyone tell me how to remove tracks from playlists. I do not get the 'remove songs' icon as stated on page 21 of instructions. Is there something wrong with my machine or is it a common problem?

The only way I have managed to do the above is to delete the album from the Pocket (which removes the associated tracks) and then retransfer the album. I'm hoping there is a simpler way as not all the albums I have on the player were transfered on my current computer!

Open the screen of the playlist you want to delete tracks from, once here there is a hidden menu, if you press and hold down for a short while any of the buttons on the FOURTH column a new menu will open where you can delete tracks, playlists and move tracks up or down.
