Firewire connection

Can anyone advise as to why the 1394 connection in network connections shows up as being connected when no devices are connected to my laptop?

It's same here and it's ok. Don't care about it. You can use Firewire for nearly everything. That's maybe the reason.


I use it for network. Works pretty good, in my opinion.
