Clicking onto it shut down IE!

Later whilst working on something AVG pops up with the message Trojan Horse SHeur.AFG Club VAIO.exe which I quarantined and then AVG disposed of so don't have it on my VGN-A417S now!

The email came from a watch/thread I did not subscribe to...and to my email address which was once registered with CLUBVAIO untill we had the VAIO Update3! This has happened twice before in the past and I went back to my settings at Club VAIO and cleared everything twice, only this time I had the additional problems of IE quitting! Can anyone enlighten me as to what is happening and what this SHeur.AFG is....?? Please! :rose:

Club VAIO icon on launcher also not working on my husbandsVGN-A417S as well as 9 other friends/family VAIO's! Documentation has to be accessed via My Computer then C to open up on Adobe! All My Club VAIO Icons appear as blanks! My guess is this is a widespread problem! Any experts help or knowledge of this - welcome!:smileyrose:!

We have reported this to Sony along with a few other similar threads: -

It seems that ClubVAIO are using a filename that is the same as one in a Trojan Horse infection. I can only presume it is not now working for you because AVG has quarantined this file which is needed by ClubVAIO. You may have to go into AVG and tell it this file is OK.

If we get any more feedback, we will let you know.

:rose: Thanks but I actually had to recover My VAIO as what ever it was had a knock on effect to all sorts of things! MY screen, mouse, programs so I think I did have a bit of a bug but downloaded various cleaners etc....not satisfied that I was safe then recovered! Luckily now that Updater3 is working better/faster/easily than I have ever known any of the previous ones - was up and running in no time at all! Glad I did it now! :rose:

Sadly I think that's probably the best option for all, at least you now know that your vaio's bug free & stable..
