Opening VAIO PCG-FR285M: DOES ANYONE KNOW THIS TRICK?

Many thanks the issue resolved was a loose ribbon cable between the on/off switch facia and the internal workings of the switch. As laptop has only 0.5GB of RAM decided to use on different O/S but forgot BIOS password seem to remember shorting out CMOS battery on  desktop, is it much bother to access on the PCG-FR285M?
