I assume with 'Factory Reset' you mean put the original Windows operating system back in place and discard all data, programs and other changes that have been applied.
The Z1XSP was launched in Spring 2004, just before VAIO's began to be shipped with a recovery partition.
Therefore the only reset option are recovery discs.
If you don't have the Recovery Discs (anymore), you should be able to buy a replacement set from the VAIO Support. Don't mind the premium number, they'll be able to sort the purchase pretty quickly.
