The problem: after i've been updating the firmware from version 1.5b to 1.5f DVDs won't be recognized anymore, not even original ones... CDs are be recognized by the drive.
What can i do , to get DVDs be recognized again by that drive ?

Just a note: i've got a similar problem while updating the firmware of a toshiba SD-R6012 integrated in a Vaio PCG-FR215S ! After having been updating the firmware, which was thought to solve problems -which i wouldn't have had without-
the readability of DVDs has become worse than before.
I need any help i can get... so please help an thanks for any kind of inspiration...
