Serial number etc on PCG-K415S???

Hi,

Hope someone can help. I'm trying to download the original drivers and utilities from the download section of the sony support section. Before I can do so I must enter the product key and serial number which are supposed to be shown under the notebook. I cant find any number that remotely looks like the sample numbers on the site. All I can find is a "Service TAG" barcode and number.

Am I looking in the wrong place?

Hi Padraig,

All serial numbers have 15 digits, split up in an 8-digit model code beginning with 28 and a 7-digit unit code.

Depending on your model, you can also find the number in Control Panel -> Vaio Control Centre and look in System Information.
