Hi tolloczko and welcome to Club Vaio.

Check the simple things first. On the back of the flap with the touchpad on - in the middle - there is a switch that turns the touchpad on and off .................................

Hi
Agree and it was the first thing I checked. Batteries replaced also. The two click buttons under the touchpad work fine but not the sensor pad.
