The volume buttons "-" and "+" below the keyboard on my VAIO Notebook (PCG-GRT916V) don't work, they do not control the volume at all. Does anyone know the solution for this problem? Thank very much in advance who can help me.
Rob - is your GRT a 7 series? I notice that Vaio-Link drivers and updates has a Hotkey utility for the 7 series but not the 8 or 9 series. I can only think that it has been integrated into Utils for these models.
Yes, mine is a 7 series. I would guess that they have integrated the hotkey program into the utilities package. I would try installing the hotkey package from the 7 series before resorting to a full restore.
