Wireless network is not workin

Hi, i also have the same problem. My wireless network is ok with toshiba laptop. When I bought vaio, my laptop fount network but said limited or no connectivity. Sometime it connected to nearby another wireless network. When I refresh the list, it shows no list. When i switch off and restart it again it seem allright but unreliable to me. What do i need to do?

Theres a few replies to a post on the first page at the moment regarding ths...

What router do you use?
It is possible that the router is not assigning you an IP address properly
You could try static IP and see if that works

Also, is there any security? If so, try removing it on the router and see if tha thelps at all...

Lastly, try changing chanells, this has been known to work at times

These points are just trial and error and to narrow down the problem

Thanks for the reply. I am afraid my problem is probzbly a hardware problem, since the on/off button stopped working one fine day, all of the sudden! I was looking for some info on how to deal with the hardware problem...I want to avoid sendingit to the Vaio repair centre, aince it would take several days, let alone the cost!!!
