Hi folks,
I have just purchased a Sony NW-A45 Walkman (from Amazon dot com).
Am I only able the recharge the device using the Sony USB-lead connected to my PC? Or can I use a USB-mains-plug such as the model I use to charge my Amazon Fire tablet:
Obviously not having access to a PC (as a charging device) when I am away from home is going to cause issues!
Thanks,
Paul
Hi Paul,
I believe it is possible to charge via a USB mains plug. However, I am unable to advise or recommend that the model you have linked is recommended.
For more details on charging the battery for the NW-A45 Walkman, please see here.
Best wishes,
Sean Mc
Hi Sean,
"I believe it is possible to charge via a USB mains play."
Do you mean a mains plug?
Thanks,
Paul
Hi Paul,
Apologies, yes plug. 😎

Hi Sean,
Can you recommend a USB-mains-plug for me please? Maybe one that is similar to the Amzon Fire one?
Thanks.
Hi monsterjazzlicks,
Welcome to our community!
In this article published by Sony it's mentioned that you can use any commercially available, third party USB Power Adaptor provided that it has an output current of at least 1 A, and a voltage of 5 V.

Thanks Batee5,
I will take a look now...
