Faulty product and extremely poor customer service

Shortened version of events.  Purchaesd Vaio online 1/9/2013. Went for repair on 5/11/2013.  Contacted support on the 8th and was told it would be fixed in 4-5 days.  On the 12th I called support again and was told the part that was needed was not available until 14/01/2014.  Despite numerous calls and email there have been no calls from Sony whatsoever and I am doing all the chasing to find out what is going on.  Visited CAB and have been advised to start small claims proceedings, don't want to but this is looking like the best option!
