Don't seems so bad to me. It's an aps-c sensor from 2019. It's good.   To manage better the noise (and a lot of other parameter) shot in raw format and develop in postproduction.   At the shot time you can improve your settings: 1000iso | 1/800 | f8 is good for dynamic situation and all in focus. You can push down up a stop on diaphragm and 2 stops on time: 200iso | 1/200 | f6,3 could be better if you need images more clean. ... View more

Honestly I don’t understand your problem.   In general:  - if you want to exclude a software issue: reset the camera to factory and check  - if your trouble is with some buttons, there are few chances to solve without a replace.. try to clean (with dry cloth and a soft vacuum)  - if your trouble is with a dial, a switch, or a connector: try to act several times with the dial/switch/connector to see if it can selfclean by the oxide  - if you are at the end of this list probably you need for a repair in a center ... I fully agree with you. Fujifilm in last models (excluding medium format) are only “influencer like cameras”. The sticking on well known features of A7iv makes them a solid working machine.   I was expecting more software upgrades, because at presentation of the camera they say that it has a powerfull. In the field I don’t think so, seems that in more complex situations it has not so much power. Direct competitor (nikon) add a lot of features tho his cameras: they have to gain a lot of market gap (as for sony some years ago with A7-A7ii) On the other side canon and sony doesn’t add many features to selled modes, applying only stability improvements and bug fixing updates.   Actually the world of new mirrorless world is a little bit different than I was imagined: they are not like powerful laptops that are able to upgrade with software.
