App removal

Hi friends,

I installed the movie creator app using the apk link from xperia blog. Subsequently I uninstalled the same and the app got uninstalled.

But surprisingly, when I went to the all tab in the apps menu under settings, i was seeing the movie creator still in. When I open that, I just see the options as force stop and disable.

The app doesn't show in the home screen and also in the downloaded tab in the apps menu.

Just help me to remove the same. Hope it's not some backdoor program..

Z2 has a preinstalled movie creator that you can't uninstall but you can disable it if you don't want it. It's not a backdoor application.

The preinstalled movie creator doesn't have any icon in the app drawer. To access it, open Album, select a movie and then tap the icon to the left of the trashcan.

I don't have that app preinstalled in my Z2. Did your phone come with that app?
It seems to be a 3:rd party app that requires root access. It sounds strange that you would have this preinstalled.
