I have taken a number of video's over the last few years and transferred them to my Dell Latitude E5500 laptop (win7pro) to view. Around sept last year I found that i could no longer download video's to the laptop. Pictures transfer fine but video's always give the unknown error message. What am I doing wrong?

Can you explain how you transferred these videos. Using Windows Explorer?

Hi,

Yes, I used windows explorer. A couple of years ago it would do this automatically when I connected the phone but now it has to be by Explorer.

Check USB settings.

Find connection preferences in settings and then USB connectivity.
