Any issuess with battery drain... My Z2 after latest update drains battery with screen OFF... wery annoying. Before update.. 100 - 98% - 5 hours not using... now: same 5 hours not using 100 - 88% no apps in background, device in sleep mode - 24%, google services - 12%, screen ready - 5%, android system - 4%.  Where the power is going?

I guess they did the same thing they've did with xperia t... an update to just overclock the device... The T model was OC by 20mHz just to make the screens smoother, but the battery consumption grow. Now the Z2 is smoother and is loosing battery quicker, which shouldn't happen when making the menus faster by deleting useless stuff.

@hedrox

Which version of Google Play Services do you have? 4.4.52 builds were known to keep the phone awake and drain battery. The 24% used by yours in sleep mode suggests this is happening (or something else is keeping the phone awake in sleep mode).

I have 5.0.84 and don't see this kind of battery drain - 5% today.

I guess Google Play Services should have received the update on your device, but let's check what you have anyway.
