PC Companion backup failure

Hi,

I get an error if i want to make a backup with the Sony PC Companion because my phones memory is encrypted.

I have not encrypted my phones memory so how do i decrypt my phones memory.

You can only decrypt by performing a factory settings reset. If you didn't do it,there must have been an antivirus or some 3rd party app involved.

Hi MIVC,

If you are running an Exchange email account on the device, one of the rules may be to encrypt the device once you have setup the email account If this is the case then you will not be able to get away without encryption if you need the email account attached to the device.

Otherwise it can only be as Alexdon has stated related to some form of third party application.
