Hey guys,
So just as the title says, I cannot power up my phone. Every time I try to power it up, a triangle with a wrench and screwdriver appears with a blue loading screen on the bottom, last for a couple of seconds, then phone shuts down again.
I've had the problem for approximately 5 hours now. I've tried to reset (power button + volume key) it and nothing happens. I believe that everything started yesterday. I was out playing Pokemon GO, and I didn't notice that my battery went down to 0%. The phone shut itself down so I conneted it to a power bank. I powered it back on at ~10% and it shut down again after a couple of minutes (without the battery being drained - at least not visually).
I left the phone shut down in my pocket and when I got home I docked it and everything was fine. Haven't had problems with it all day until the evening. Approximately 5 hours ago I tried to play Pokemon GO again. I turned on data (4G) and location, entered the game and I lost my carrier service (no data). After approximatley 5 seconds the phone shut down and it got EXTREMELY hot in less than 30 seconds.
I've been trying to power it back up/reset it for the past 5 hours. Any ideas what it could be/what can I do?
Thank you!

Yeah, I solved it, but no thanks to this forum.
Changed the battery at a specialized service.
connect the phone to a wall charger > press and hold power & volume up for 10 seconds > let it charge for 2-3 hours then repair it with XC

Any other solutions? You haven't been particularly helpful with your generic reply.
Well? Anyone? Really? Are you guys support technicians or random internet copy-paste posters?
What a... rude... person, I understand your furstration but if you took the time to read about the forum, you will know that this is a user based forum, if you want someone from Sony to assist you, contact them directly >>> Local support
It's not about me being rude, it's about you offering the same generic solution for every problem. That's not what a "person" does, that's what a "bot" does.
I didn't contact Sony's actual support because I thought someone on the forum could come up with a REAL solution, not a generic "please reset your phone because that would solve your problem" - because it's the same solution you give to everyone and then you stop replying to their posts.
I have the same issue you reported. Did you manage to solve it?
Thanks,
Ana
