@JustinSain

You could use a USB OTG + mouse > restart the phone > you should be able to input the pin/password, that's assuming that only the digitizer/touchscreen cracked and the LCD it's visible, otherwise there isn't a way.

Hi @JustinSain, sorry to hear about what has happened to your device. Slightly_frowning_Face

As @uliwooly wrote, you can with the help of a OTG-adapter, connect a wired mouse to your device and see if you are able to navigate the touch screen this way. I wrote a guide on how to do this and you can find it on the link below.

If you are only interested in resetting your phone, you can always perform a software repair using Xperia Companion. Do note that the phone will need to be powered off during the whole repair process and that all data stored on the internal storage will be lost during the repair.

I hope that helps!

Yes the software repair seems to be my best option. But would the phone need to be unlocked to do this or not?

Thanks

Hi again @JustinSain, sorry for the late reply.

The phone does not need to be unlocked for you to be able to perform the software repair as the phone will be powered off during the entire process and the internal storage will be completed wiped and the latest available software will be reinstalled.

Let me know how it goes! Slightly_smiling_Face

What if you accesss (on your computer) MyXperia or Android Device Manager > follow the steps and reset the device.

Hi again @JustinSain,

From what I can see the device is powered on and connected to the computer, is that correct? If it is, please power it off and remove the cable from the computer or the device and start with the repair again.

The device should NOT be powered on when performing a software repair to remove the screen lock on your device.

I hope that helps!
