sony Z1 is vibrating in silent mode

Hi

My Sony will vibrate every time I get a text, email or phone call when it is on silent mode. How do I switch this off please

Simple if you unlock the screen lower the volume once it reach vibrate press volume down once more and it will turn it off 

you can also pull down the notification bar > quick settings > sound (tap it twice)

No it doesn't 😞 it says at the top of my screen it is in silent mode

Ok in that case open the messaging app > menu > settings > notification vibration uncheck it, do the same to other apps

All unchecked and its still doing it

Do you see the icon: speaker with an X on top?

That doesn't seem right, boot on safe mode and check again

In safe mode it doesn't vibrate but back in normal mode and it is still doing it

That's good, so its an app that you installed not a pre-loaded app, do you have any notification app, ringtone app, etc?
