Z1 warranty

Hello, 

i just got my Xperia Z1, and i am absolutely in love with it!!. There is only one thing i would like to ask. The phone i got it second handed fom a friend of mine who wanted to change to xperia z1 compact due to the size. The thing is, i dont have the purchase receipt. Am i still covered by the phones warranty, or i should find the actual receipt asap?

Your receipt is the warranty proof. Therefore, I suggest that you try to get your hands on the original receipt.

Hello I'm the newbie too to this forum, may I know is there any other way to know that the xperia phone still have a warranty or not or how long the period of the warranty are? I'm using second hand sony xperia z1 I brought from a friend but I don't have the warranty receipt..thanks

Even if u have warranty of your Z1, but there is no valid proof for same.. thats why u need valid bill also for any warranty claim..
