KD55XD7005 Dirty screen effect

Hi all,

i had this TV for a week, i really really really like it, but after a day use

iv'e noticed there are bruises visible in bright scenes (like scenes with snow or sky)
Including a prominent spot in the middle of the screen.

Iv'e ordered Sony's official importer service, the guy said that this is not a problem, and its part of the product.
What do you think?

Hi there

My opinion is - I would not put up with that level of DSE! That looks rather terrible to be frank.

Suggest you contact the retailer and get then to swap the tv for another one

Hi there

Now that looks a hell of a lot better !  Those last too pics are fine in my opinion.  However at the end of the day, its you (the paying customer) that needs to be happy.

look, you cannot really see it if your not in a solid white picture.
the problem? i know it is there, so i will always look for it.

i'm afraid to replace it because i know that there is a 50% chance that i'll recive a worse set.
and there is worse, much worse...
