My Sony Account won't allow me to register my product. The purchase details are greyed out and won't function so cannot complete! Frustrating ! Advice please.

Maybe you forgot to select an option or missed to add some other required information.
Hard to say without having additional information.
I've registered a product w/o any issues.

This happens when the model number isn't entered correctly; make sure to put the hyphen as it is on the service sticker on the product and to avoid putting any spaces in there. For example: KD-55AG9 or WH-1000XM4.
