Hi There
I am hoping someone can advise me of a solution to this issue. I just purchased the X800 4K Player and have it connencted to my KD-65X8509C TV.
Both have the latest firmware. I set my TV HDMI port to "Enhanced" and was ready to go. Although once i turned on the player and got the homescreeen the screen kept flickering or blinking, cutting off and coming back on again but to make things stranger I put a movie disc in and once it starts no issues and plays without any problems. Once the movie is over and back to the homescreen the blinking/flicker is back.
Does anyone else know what to do with this issue? I do also have a PS4 Pro, and another Sony home cinema system connected to my TV would this be causing an issue? It is probally a simply setting that I have thought of but it is driving me banannas lol
Kind Regards
Matthew
Hi @mattiemax and welcome to the community,
Does this problem still happen if only the X800 is connected to the TV? If not, there's probably a CEC conflict with another product - so something to check.
Cheers,

Hello,
I have the same issue with my X700.
The problem appears on the menu and when I'm looking at non-HD content (like a bluray Bonus, or a DVD)
However, I've watched already two 4k blurays without having this issue.
I tried to disconnect every other HDMI cables but it didn't help.
My TV is a "LG OLED55B8V".
What can I do ?
Thanks for your help.

Hi @Jidewe
Interesting, I have my X800 connected to a HT-ZF9 soundbar. I have to set the HDMI Signal Format to "Standard" on the HT-ZF9 because the Menu doesn't appear when it is set to "Enhanced". No biggy for me as I don't have any 4K videos. I tried setting the X800 Output Video Resolution to fixed 4K from Auto but it made no difference.
