I have recently had installed Sky Q and 2 multi room boxes.
The signal is transmitted around the property via Cat 5 cabling.
The Sky Q main box works fine on a Sony TV but both the multi room boxes/Tvs have an intemitant fault.
On TV model KDL40WE663BU the sound and vision flick off for a second or two randomly and then restores.
On TV model KDL40W605B the sound only flicks off for a second or two randomly and then restores.
Bravia sync services have been disabled.
If I connect the multi room boxes to a panasonic TV I do not have these problems so there is no problem with the Sky signal.
Sony Technical have washed their hands of the problem and can not find a solution. Sky are trying to get to the bootom of it and have suggested I post on this forum to see if any other users have expecienced the same problem and found a solution.
Any ideas?

Hi CHRISTOPHER1955,
The best way to make sure if it's an issue with the TVs is to connect the skybox directly to the TV, if it works fine, then it's the multiroom connection.
Although this connection type might work with another brand like Panasonic, I guess the reason why it can or can't work isn't really disclosed.
Cheers,

What a patronising reply from Sony!
We have bought a Panasonic TV which works absolutley fine with mt sky Q after returning our Sony for a full refund and will not, after being a big supporterof Sony from the past, buy any of their products again!
Lousy product and customer support.
