sometimes there is no icon at my desktop

Hallo!

For 2 weeks i have an VGN-FS285H and sometimes when i start my notebook there anything appears at my main desktop. No icon, no anything. Just my wallpaper.
After some restarts the icon appear again and everything is ok.

why does it happen?
