Vaio SZ, Vista and screen brightness

While we all wait for specific Vista drivers to arrive for our Vaios: with the function keys for dimming the screen brightness not working yet, is there any other way to dim the screen?

Have a look at THIS INFORMATIVE THREAD posted earlier today by baumhoto .

The SZ Vista drivers are not listed yet.

The only other way is to go to Control Panel -> Display -> Settings -> Advanced -> nVidia control panel -> Colour Correction where you can usually change brightness and contrast.

I just played around with the old XP drivers, and in the SZ1 Utility Pack I found the VAIO Event Service. When choosing XP compatibility mode and running it as admin, i can use the function keys, only problem is, I have to manually start that program. I wonder if there's a way of having it start automatically, as usual...
