Srs x55 Bluetooth speaker

Hi

I only use my Speaker to play music directly from my iPhone 5. 

Earlier this evening I went to turn off my speaker and accidentally pressed the phone sign. My phone then went into a voice control mode which showed different voice commands.  Then it randomly dialled a contact. Why did it do this? I never gave it any command ? It freaked me out !
